Q: I received an email notifying me of my successful bid. What happens now?
A: Your winning notification email will provide a link for you to submit the requested details of the personalized video message you would like to have the star record for you. You have 24 hours to fill out the form and then we will send you an invoice to make payment. After receiving your invoice you have 48 hours to make your payment. If we do not receive your submitted form or payment within these timeframes, your bid will be forfeited.
Q: What if I changed my mind or can no longer keep my commitment?
A: Please don't be that person! If really have to withdraw your bid, please contact us anyway - it's disruptive to the many others who bid, and to the overall fundraising efforts of the Make-A-Wish charity. Please be kind and honour your bid.
Q: Wait, how do I know this is really going to benefit Make-A-Wish Foundation? And can I claim tax relief?
A: ACE has a formalized partnership with Make-A-Wish Singapore that has been independently verified. As an approved IPC registered charity organisation, Make-A-Wish Singapore will also be able to provide receipts for Singapore domiciled tax residents claiming tax relief if requested.
Q: What kind of messages can I request?
A: The message can be for yourself (ask a burning question, give you a shoutout to share on your social media, or simply some words of inspiration) - or you can ask the star to record the message for a friend or loved one as a surprise gift. It's up to you! But remember - the messages have to be non commercial (no company or brand mentions), and in good taste. The star has the right to reject your message if it is deemed inappropriate.
